My name is Chris, and I’m the maker behind Frosted Timber Co. I’m based in Northern Utah, and while my shop is local, I proudly ship custom work to customers across the United States.

Frosted Timber Co began as a hobby—an extension of a lifelong interest in working with my hands—and grew into a business built around quality, precision, and intention. I’ve been a woodworker since taking my first woodshop class in junior high school, and that early foundation still shapes how I approach every project today.

A Maker-Led, Veteran-Owned Small Business

I am a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, having served in the U.S. Army. My time in the military reinforced values that carry directly into my work: attention to detail, accountability, and pride in doing things the right way.

Those values guide how I run Frosted Timber Co—from how projects are designed, to how materials are chosen, to how each piece is finished before it leaves my shop.

Designed, Cut, and Crafted In-House

Every item from Frosted Timber Co is designed, cut, and crafted by me, in-house. I do not outsource any part of the process.

From initial design to final finish, I maintain full control to ensure consistent quality and clean, precise results. I work with a combination of modern precision tools and traditional woodworking techniques, always focusing on craftsmanship that lasts—not mass production.

I also make a deliberate effort to source materials from ethical businesses, including suppliers that support responsible timber harvesting. Preserving our forests and supporting ethical timber harvesting is important to me, and it’s a responsibility I take seriously as a maker.
